Dyngus Day is a Polish - American Holiday celebrated the Monday after Easter.

Some would equate Dyngus Day as the Polish - American version of St. Patrick's Day. We have a parade, we wear red & white, we get drunk, we eat awesome food (pierogi, kielbasa sausage, etc.) and we POLKA. If you think you can't polka- have a Tyskie and you'll learn quick!

In today's Dyngus Day festivities girls carry pussywillows and boys carry squirt guns. Why? To flirt of course! Girls will whack guys with their pussy willows and guys will squirt the girls they find attractive with their squirt guns! Hence why the monday after Easter has been called "Wet Monday".

While Buffalo only has the 2nd largest Polska population in the US, only to be beat by Chicago, it DOES have the WORLDS largest Dyngus Day Celebration- attracting visitors from miles around to purchase Pussywillow passes, polka, eat pounds of authentic pierogi & butter lambs, and take tours with Forgotten Buffalo to see some local buffalonian history, drink cheap Tyskie & shots of Krupnik, and have a fantastic time doing it! With a little lyrical help from friend and comedian Kim Buchner, City Under Siege decided to parody the Toby Keith Classic "Whiskey Girl", by putting a little power pop edge into it and thus the City Under Siege Power Pop Music song "Tyskie Girl" was born!

Serious question about weather to pop or leave white heads?

I have been told so many things about white heads. I have been told to clean your hands, and pop them. And I have also been told to leave it, apply ice, honey, all these different things. I am asking you, what is the best thing to do when you get a white head for it to just go! But doesnt leave a mark! What do you recommend? You have the floor...

I personally pop them and my dermatologist does also but if you mess with them too much or use too much force it can leave a scar or pit . I would suggest going to see yours and have them do a facial cleaning while removing all white and blackheads, it will leave a small red mark but will go away in a few days. If you can do it on a friday so you can stay inside over the weekend if the spots will be an embarrassment for you . You will look a thousand times better after.
