Hublot King Power F1 Monza Watch Limited Edition
Hublot's season on the F1 circuits is continuing to be a success! The synergy shared between the Management of F1 and the watchmaking firm is now to be manifested with the presentation of a new exclusive model named after the legendary Italian circuit of Monza.
After the Formula 1 Official Watch unveiled a few months ago following the announcement of an unprecedented partnership between F1 and the Swiss watchmaker, the Italian Grand Prix – the fastest of the championship – is the first to lend its name to a new limited series of Hublot Watches.
The new Hublot King Power F1 Monza Limited Edition, inspired by the world of motor racing, combines a pioneering, sporty and distinguished design with extremely fine know-how in the use of hi-tech materials. A world first is there to be discovered on this chronograph: the red tinted sapphire crystal… the colour is incorporated into the translucent material, which confers on the watch a unique and unprecedented brightness. Red tones dominate the decoration of this timepiece: indices, hands, the stitching on the strap and the Formular 1 Monza inscription on the bezel all represent a nod to the colour of the prestigious world of motor racing Italian-style… To add to the depth of this man-sized piece, its openworked dial is skilfully covered with a crystal enabling the hour markers and the F1 logo to be applied, giving the illusion that they are floating weightlessly in the case.
200-piece limited series.

Nomex and kevlar cape.?
Would be possible to make a cape like the one used by Tim Drake (The Current Robin the Boy Wonder). Nomex (on the outer layers) and Kevlar interwoven to be fire-resistant and bulletproof. Its weighted ends may be used for offensive purposes. The tips are lead-weighted.
Is it possible to make something like this? If so how?
Actually, Kevlar is fairly fire resistant itself, however if it is thick enough to be bullet resistant it will resemble a carpet more than a cape, so the answer is, no it is not possible.
