Sage Xi2 Rods feature low-profile, oversized guides and round tip-top guides to cut down friction and cope with large knots, as well as custom, saltwater-safe reel seats. In my mind this reel seat is a big improvement on prior models. Due to its design there is very little wobbling on the reel at all. As for the casting, well, what Sage says is very true, the taper is very fast, faster than the old RPLXi. An additional perk is the weight, it's little enough to reel in a huge catch no problem. No matter which saltwater challenges you face - from bonefish to billfish - the Sage Xi2 rod lets you concentrate on the fish instead of your cast. That's fishability!
