Jet Ski turbo? how to know if its blown?
We have two honda aquatrax turbos. They both run GREAT. One you can hear the turbo spool and feel the power, hitting almost 70 MPH. The other has a max speed of about 45 MPH, and you can't hear or feel the turbo... runs justl ike there IS no turbo.
MAkes common sense that the problem is related to the turbo, however, I'm a car guy and every time I've ever had anyone with a blown turbo in a car, it dogs down the car- makes it run poorly, may make a whistling sound, etc.
In this situation, if you didn't know any better you'd think it drives just fine.
Does it sound like a blown turbo? Or could itb e something different? Anything else we should look at before spending $3000 to order a new turbo??
never really heard of a jet ski haveing turbo but i have seen on youtube of one.
