Will a terra cotta (clay) disc used to soften brown sugar work on white sugar?
I've never thought about it. You should be able to break up the white sugar with a knife or something. They don't advertise the clay discs for white sugar so my guess would be that they don't work on white. Of course, it could be that they've never tried. You should try it and let us know if it works.
