Optical Discs for Computers
An optical disc is a portable storage medium that consist of a flat, round, portable disk made of metal, plastic, and lacquer that is written and read by a laser. Optical disc used in personal computers or 4.75 inches in diameter and less than 1/20 oh an inch of it. Nearly every personal computers has some type of optical disk drives installed in a drive bay.
On these drives, if you push a button to slide the trail, insert the disk, and then push the same button to close the tray. Many different formats of optical disc exists today. These include CD-ROM, CD-R, CD-RW, CD ROM, DVD bar, DVD plus our, D. D., RW, DVD RW, and DVD plus RAM.
A CD-ROM, which is short for compact disc read only memory is a type of optical disk that users can read but not right on or record or you race hits, the name read-only. Eight to go CD-ROM holds from 650 MB and 1 GB of data, instructions, and information. This is equivalent to about 450 high density 3.5 inch floppy disk. Software manufacturers often distribute their programs using CD-ROMs.

Why don't they use disc brakes on road racing bicycles?
Racing bikes are so light that now teams have to add weight to bikes to meet minimum weight requirements. Why not disc brakes?
With few exceptions, the only time you see racers hitting the brakes is when they're heading into a descending turn with too much speed. A quick tap or modest pull to the levers to tame the bike's speed enough to make the turn safely is all that is necessary or wanted. Discs would offer no advantage and would only complicate matters (wheel changes, etc) even if there was no weight disparity.
