Check Brake

Brake and Its System
It is known to all that various kinds of mechanical parts are on the automobiles. They work together to achieve the proper function. Among them the brake is considered as one of the most important parts of the car. It is imperative when you maintain the brake system on a regular basis. Automotive brakes are majorly categorized as brake system and brake parts.
1, the definition of the brake
The brake is a device for slowing or stopping motion, as of a vehicle, especially by contact friction. i.e. it is a device which inhibits motion.
2, brake system
A typical automotive brake system or braking system comprises of a brake device having different components, which are used for slowing or stopping down a vehicle. More precisely, these devices decrease or stop the speed of a moving or rotating body by absorbing kinetic energy mechanically or electrically.
3, application of the brake system
They are widely used in motor vehicles, buses, trucks, trains, airplanes, and other types of automobiles.
4, brake parts
They can be made of different kinds of materials such as steel, stainless steel, iron, copper, titanium, carbon steel, chromium, vanadium, cast iron, brass, bronze, aluminum, rubber and plastic, etc. They are fitted in the automobiles which are critical to the controlled reduction of speed. These comprises of different types of supplementary parts, devices and accessories like brake booster, brake cylinders, brake lines, wheel studs, roll, pumps etc. they work together to perform multitude of functions like slowing, stopping, controlling the speed and movement of the vehicle.
5, the operation of the brake
Obviously, brakes can be used to stop or slow motion. But how does it work to achieve this function? When you depress your brake pedal, your car transmits the force from your foot to its brakes through a fluid. Since the actual brakes require a much greater force than you could apply with your leg, your car must also multiply the force of your foot. The brakes transmit the force to the tires using friction, and the tires transmit that force to the road using friction, too.
6, maintenance of the brake
There are many things to do to maintain it. Here are just some requirements for the brake maintenance. First of all, you should check some parts like the pads shoes and rotors drums. These are the parts of the car that create the friction needed to stop the car. To check brake shoes, you must remove the drum and check pad thickness on the shoe. Secondly, rotors should be replaced every time you replace your pads on some cars. A rotor should really only be turned once. After that, they should be replaced. Thirdly, the brake fluid needs to be replaced on a regular interval. When replacing your brake fluid, make sure to check what kind of fluid your car needs.
