2011 Chicago Auto Show winners and losers

The Chicago Auto Show took place in the McCormick Place exhibition center this year, and there was plenty of room for great and not-so-great cars from the world's most famous names, including some great BMW wheels.

The 2011 BMW 3-Series coupe made a big impression on many of the show's attendees, who marveled at the BMW wheels' awesome styling and entry level 230 horsepower 3.0L I6. The classic factory BMW wheels graced all three of the 3-Series models and the BMW wheels stood out in the sports trim especially. Granted, the focus of most attendees wasn't on the BMW wheels of this model, but it's worth noting that with a luxury vehicle, the BMW wheels were a not-insignificant part of its styling that made it a real show standout. BMW will have to watch its back in the next few months, however, since aftermarket companies will quickly introduce alternatives to the factory BMW wheels showcased at the 2011 Chicago Auto Show.

The show wasn't just about BMW wheels, obviously, as glorious as those wheels might have been. Other standouts included the selection of customized vehicles, such as the RK Collection's Toyota Camry, which was outfitted with a 680hp TRD V8. The tremendous power apparently rendered the car "NASCAR-ready," according to its presenters, and a roll cage, along with improved interior features, solidified the point.

The 2012 Dodge Charger SRT8 was another major highlight that has already received an enormous amount of positive press. It boasts a 6.4L Hemi V8 engine, which pumps out 465 horsepower. It's a powerful step up from the current Charger and certainly an exhilarating vehicle that's certain to delight customers looking for more performance out of the Charger series. The 2012 model was almost immediately lauded by attendees of the show, thanks to its incredible power plant and slightly revamped looks that improved on earlier versions of the Charger. Dodge also introduced new heavy-duty trucks at the Chicago Auto Show.

Another impressive offering was the Camaro ZL1. The ZL1 has a 550hp 6.2L supercharged LSA engine. It's the fastest Camaro ever and seems intent on grabbing a piece of the performance car market.

Not every vehicle was a winner at the 2011 Chicago Auto Show. Apart from the magnificent BMW wheels (which were actually introduced on a BMW that had already made a public appearance), there weren't too many new luxury models that stood out, perhaps owing to the state of the economy. Overall, the auto show featured some truly powerful and exciting vehicles, and the custom vehicles shown made it a worthwhile venture for every car fan.

Hi how are you.... i wish you have consider this eliment.
This is that you have in your car more reasons to beat the camaro...
1. It's the newest....which mean it has an advanced technology in driving such as "abs" and traction control.....
2.Allot lighter than the camaro.
3.Faster...the 328i goes from 0-100km per hour during 6 secounds.

This what I believe
