how to mount a bov on 88 thunderbird?
i have a 1988 thunderbird tc and it dosent have any place for a bov near the throttle body i have a hks ssqv with a weld on flange. any ideas???
yes it is turbo, and a b.o.v is short for blow off valve. it is a pressure relese valve it keeps boost from going back in the compressor wheel and creating surge
you don't have to worry about it on these, if the pressure gets to high it will blow off the hose.
Mainly they are for modified cars with larger front mounted intercoolers with long hose runs.
